When others are fleeing the "dangers" of the East Side, the members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Resurrection are standing their ground and saying "NO!" to the decay that has overtaken this very much overlooked area of the city by providing essential services like health care, child care, a garden, and food pantry to the community that surrounds the church.
John J. Fink is a Pompton Lakes, NJ and Buffalo, NY based film, video and media maker, and an MFA Candidate in the Department of Media Study, SUNY University at Buffalo. His work and research explore the connection between biography and geography and its manifestation in cinema including experimental and narrative film.
