REFUGEES: BUFFALO’S NEXT GENERATION [by Brett M. Williams, Scott T. Murchie & Journey's End Refugee Services] illuminates the issues faced by refugee students and shows how the Refugee School Impact Program works closely with families and schools to help bridge the existing cultural and linguistic gaps.
Journey's End Refugee Services is a Christian community-based organization with the mission of welcoming refugees without regard to ethnic origin or creed and assisting them to become healthy, independent, contributing members of the community.
Brett M. Williams has been making videos since 2002. He received the Gregory Cappasso Memorial Award for outstanding achievement as an undergraduate student from SUNY at Buffalo’s Department of Media Study, of which he is now a graduate.
Scott T. Murchie is a 2002 graduate from University of Toronto’s Film and Video Department and a founding member of Chance Encounter Productions in Clarence, New York.
